- Acceptance of Terms
By registering on the www.clases.universidadmadison.com website (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”) and using the services of Madison University LLC (“the University”, “we”, “us” or “our”), you (hereinafter referred to as “the User” or “the Student”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
- Definitions
- Platform: The website www.clases.universidadmadison.com where classes are taught and academic interaction is managed.
- User: Anyone who registers on the platform.
- Student: User who has completed the registration process for a career or diploma course.
- Inscription: Act by which a user enrolls in an academic program.
- License plate: Amount to be paid initially when entering an academic program.
- Monthly payment: Amount to be paid monthly as class fees according to the academic program.
- Payment plan: Financial calendar automatically generated after registration, which details the monthly fees and the tuition or monthly payments to be paid.
- Registration and Enrollment Process
3.1. Account Creation (Registration):
- To apply for an account, the user must provide a valid email address.
- The platform will send a verification link to this email. By clicking on the link, the user must fill out a form with their personal data.
- Once completed, a user profile will be created and an access password will be emailed to you.
- At this stage, the user has limited access to the platform, but is not considered a student and does not have access to academic content.
3.2. Enrollment in academic programs:
- To become a student, the user must actively enroll in a career or diploma available in the corresponding section of the platform.
- Registration is free and is done at the time of selecting the program and pressing the “Register” button.
- When you enroll, the system automatically generates a personalized payment plan , which includes the payment of tuition along with the first monthly installment.
- Financial Policy and Payments
4.1. Payment obligations:
- Registration and the first installment are requirements to access the classes. Payment is due upon registration.
- Successive installments will be due every 30 days from the date of registration. The payment deadline to avoid late payment is the 22nd of each month.
4.2. Consequences for non-payment:
- First month overdue: The student maintains full access to the classes.
- Second month overdue: Access to classes, materials and exams is suspended. The student retains access to their profile and the payments section to regularize their situation.
- Third month due (3 accumulated overdue installments): The student’s user is automatically unsubscribed. Your account is deactivated, your enrollment is removed from the academic program, and any outstanding fees are erased from your history, keeping only the record of payments made for future re-enrollment.
4.3. Account reactivation:
- Reactivation after a cancellation due to late payment is not automatic. The student must formally contact the Academic Coordination.
- Once reactivated, the student must re-enroll in the academic program (free of charge). Previously paid fees will be retained, but the payment plan will be completed with any outstanding fees that are due from the date of reactivation.
4.4. Payment methods:
- Card payment (Stripe): Payments are securely processed through Stripe, Inc. Card data is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. The University only stores a customer ID securely. The University is not responsible for delays in updating the payment status resulting from the webhook verification process with Stripe.
- Alternative methods (Western Union or Zelle or others): For students in countries with restrictions, the University facilitates payment through these means. The payment will be considered “completed” once the funds have been received and verified by the finance department, which may result in additional delay.
- Student Rights and Responsibilities
5.1. Access and participation:
- The Student has the right and responsibility to regularly access the Platform, review the weekly agenda and actively participate in live classes.
- For an optimal experience, the use of a microphone during sessions is recommended. The use of a camera is optional.
5.2. Conduct:
- The Student agrees to maintain respectful behavior in all interactions (classes, forums, communications) with professors, classmates, and administrative staff.
- Any act of harassment, defamation, or any conduct that foments division or causes damage to the reputation of the University or any member of its community is prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate account suspension or termination, without refund.
5.3. Evaluations:
- Exams must be completed within the stipulated dates. No extensions are granted.
- The minimum grade to pass an exam is 70 points. To pass a subject or career, a minimum of 80 points is required.
- If a Student fails an exam, he/she is entitled to two additional chances, upon payment of $5 USD for each extra attempt. Each Student has a maximum of 3 opportunities to pass an exam (the first included in the fee, and two additional paid ones).
- Academic and technological management
6.1. Cohorts and groups:
- Students are automatically assigned by the platform to a group or “cohort”. The academic content and classes available will be those designated for your specific cohort.
6.2. Agenda:
- The University provides an agenda on the platform that shows the weekly schedule, adapted to the local time of the student’s country. It is the sole responsibility of the student to check this agenda regularly for class schedules and activities.
- Data retention and deletion
- Any user who, after registration, does not enroll in any academic program within 6 months, will be automatically removed from our database by an automated process, along with all their personal information.
- Limitation of Liability
- The University will not be responsible for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, network failures, or third-party service providers (such as Stripe).
- The University strives to ensure data security, but cannot guarantee absolute security on the internet. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his or her password.

- Madison University reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Payments will be notified to students through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the platform following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
